Getting out of the house...

Saturday, we got out of the house and went to the Sport Show. They had some fun stuff for the kids.

This cute little remote control boat talked to the kids. What kid wouldn't love a talking boat?

This really was the highlight, after waiting in a long line, the kids got to fish... for real fish.

The fish weren't biting much, most likely due to the full day of being caught and released repeatedly.

They were pretty good at getting your bait, without getting hooked.

Gracie was the only one who had any luck. This is the 1st fish she has ever caught, and she was so EXCITED! We were going to throw it back, but she really wanted it.

She happily helped Brent gut it. Then played with it in the sink for awhile. After that, she went to the fridge over and over just to check on it.

Hiking in April

Well the snow is finally starting to melt. Time to get out of the house!

It was slow going...but lots of fun.

It actually snowed most of the time we were out, but it was still fun.

Happy Little Easter in Alaska

We woke the kids up to celebrate Easter when Brent got home from work at 7:00 A.M.


We enjoyed our Easter baskets, and finding eggs.

Gracie asked what was wrong this year...why we weren't hunting eggs outside in the grass. We're not in Utah anymore baby girl.

Gracie surprised me with this cute little song about Jesus. I didn't catch it all but she's quite a little singer! I like that she's learning about the Savior and that it's part of her life already.
